Nord Samuelson is the co-leader of the Americas Information Management Practice at AlixPartners. Mr. Samuelson enables companies to realize dramatic value through the combination of cost, portfolio management, market and predictive analytics. Mr. Samuelson focuses on creating analytical platforms that combine a true understanding of costs with market / customer and investment models. This focus has allowed client companies reduce costs while dramatically improving the performance of investments (e.g., operational efficiency, R&D effectiveness, IT rationalization, market expansion) on an ongoing basis.

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Mr. Samuelson was a Managing Director at the Palladium Group, the leading Strategy Execution firm where he led the Information Services / Enterprise Performance Management practice. Before the Palladium Group, Mr. Samuelson held a number of executive roles at software and services companies focused on business and technology process transformation. Mr. Samuelson started his career with Monitor Company where he worked for ten years as a strategy consultant and leader of the analytics / decision support practice.

Mr. Samuelson holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Economics from Bowdoin College and has both taken classes and worked with Professor Otto Scharmer at MIT in the area of change management. Mr. Samuelson is a speaker / author on business process design including financial and shared services processes, process transformation approaches, and R&D effectiveness.
