Robert W. Bennett is currently Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer of Blackhawk Mining, LLC.  With over 29 years of experience in the coal business his prior experience includes President and Chief Executive Officer of Patriot Coal, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of Patriot Coal, Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of Magnum Coal, and Vice President of Sales and Trading at Peabody Energy.  In addition, Mr. Bennett has served in key sales, commercial and operating positions at Neweagle Coal, AGIPCOAL USA, and Enoxy coal.  Mr. Bennett earned his  Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Marshall University.
