Robert Silverman joined the investment banking division of Barclays in 2001, currently working as a Director in the Credit Restructuring & Advisory Group. Mr. Silverman covers distressed and defaulted borrowers across a range of industries and financial products. His principal activities include directing recovery strategies for the Bank ranging from leading bank agencies, sitting on creditor committees, DIP and rescue financings, debt-to-equity conversions, asset divestitures, and in- and out-of-court debt restructurings. Prior to joining Barclays, he worked as an analyst at Lehman Brothers in High Yield Research. Mr. Silverman holds a BA in English from Binghamton University and an MBA from New York University.
